The haul was reported to be worth around PLN 250,000
Customs officers seized 30,000 packs of cigarettes this week while searching two fuel trucks travelling from Ukraine to Germany.
According to news site TVN24, the haul was made in the eastern village of Dorohusk right next to the Ukrainian border and is thought to have an estimated market value of PLN 250,000.
It is not known where the cigarettes were headed and both drivers have protested their innocence.
This is the second major cigarette discovery this year. In May, around 270,000 packs were also seized by customs officers in Kowalewo. ...
