Dr. Joseph Nicolosi claims he can help people who don't want to be gay

Poznan’s Medical University has caused something of a storm by endorsing a conference on how to cure homosexuality.

According to Gazeta Wyborcza, the conference is set to take place in mid-September and will feature American psychologist Dr. Joseph Nicolosi, known for his controversial views on the topic.

The doctor’s official website opens with the slogan “You don’t have to be gay” and claims he is able to help those who feel “same-sex attractions” but believe these feeling do not represent “who they really are”.

Many of Poland’s Catholic and right-wing portals are hailing the conference as a worth-while event and have advertised Dr. Nicolosi as a “World-renowne ...
