Marek S. face a possible 12 years in jail
A 49-year-old man has appeared in a Wroclaw court charged with repeatedly raping a teenage girl for over a year.
The girl, who was 14-years-old at the time of the first alleged assault, had been hired in September 2009 by the man, referred to only as Marek S. for legal reasons, to distribute leaflets.
According to the girl, known only as Ala, Marek S. once took her to a cottage outside Wroclaw, plied her with alcohol and then raped her. He then, allegedly, won Ala’s silence by threatening to harm her younger sister if she told anybody.
Taking advantage of her fear prosecutors claim he subjected to the girl to a series of rapes spread over the period of a year.
