Poland's tourist industry is looking healthy
New statistics state that tourism remains healthy in Poland, which witnessed a substantial increase during the first half of this year.
Figures by the Central Statistical Office (GUS), printed in Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, claim that between January and June approximately 1.9 million spent at least one night in Poland - a figure that bodes well for the tourism industry.
According to Vice President of the Tourist Institute, Krzysztof Lopacinski, it’s still too early to tell how the industry will fare over the entire year, but so far things are looking bright.
