National carrier LOT may soon find itself with a new owner
The long-awaited privatization of the national carrier LOT looks to be under way, as the company’s president, Marcin Pirog, told reporters there were candidates interested in purchasing the airline. “We’re holding talks with two aviation companies about the sale of LOT,” Pirog told reporters. He refused to be drawn on who the companies were, but promised more details would be forthcoming in the near future.
