A match made in heaven

A young football fan shocked his girlfriend this week by proposing to her on the pitch in front of 10,000 fans.

According to Fakt, 22-year-old Rafal Haba invited his bride-to-be onto the pitch at the Slask Wroclaw ground before getting on his knee to pop the big question.

The opportunity came about during a competition at the newly opened stadium, where supporters took part trying to score goals. After winning the event, Rafal asked for a microphone and then did the deed.

“My heart was pounding,” he confesses. “I was afraid I was going to do something wrong, but I did it!”
