Jaroslaw Kaczynski has denied that the incident was set up by the party itself
Jaroslaw Kaczynski got an unexpected surprise during an address to the Law and Justice(PiS) masses at a Krakow opera house when two Greenpeace activists abseiled down from the ceiling.
After their special-forces-style entry the eco-warriors unfurled a banner declaring “Poland Deserves More. Clean Energy”, a play on the Law and Justice (PiS) election slogan “Poland deserves more,” to amused applause from the audience.
Their arrival caught the PiS leader off guard but having regained his composure he made light of the situation, saying it was “very resourceful of you”, and inviting the activists for a chat and a “cup of coffee” after his speech. He then continued talking, w ...
