Nergal has once again caused controversy
A furious row has broken out between members of the Catholic church over whether or not controversial metal star Adam Darski should be allowed to act as juror on TV show ‘The Voice of Poland’.
According to Gazeta Wyborcza, the division has been caused after the decision to allow the musician (better known as ‘Nergal’) to take part on the talent show was defended by Father Adam Boniecki.
The priest, editor of Catholic magazine Tygodnik Powszechny, has since been criticised by fellow members of the church, most notably Bishop Wieslaw Mering who claimed he was “not a shepherd, but a wolf amongst sheep”.
