The EU will come out of the crisis stronger says Komorowski
President Bronislaw Komorowski struck an upbeat note during an address to the UN general assembly saying the European Union would exit the current crisis strengthened.
“I am convinced that the current difficulties related to finance in EU member states will be overcome and the Union will emerge from the crisis stronger,” said the president at the 66th general assembly in New York.
He added that the “European social model” would survive the economic tribulations, and that Poland would strive to ensure Europe remained a reference point to countries around the world.
