Miller claims that he didn't mean to cause offence
Leszek Miller has officially apologised for his comments last week that “unattractive female candidates can scare off voters”.
Reports on news site TVN24 state that the former prime minister claims he didn’t mean to cause offence but was just commenting on what “everybody sees”.
“If you go on the streets and look at billboards, you only ever see attractive women,” he said.
He claims he only realised that he may have caused offence after it was pointed out to him. “First my wife said something, then Jolanta Kwasniewska (former First Lady). If people so close to me are telling me it was wrong, then it must mean that something was up.” ...
