Legia fans embarrassed both themselves and the country through their conduct at the game
It was a night to forget for Poland’s two Europa League representatives - Wisla Krakow and Legia Warszawa, as the first lost heavily in Holland before Legia fans unveiled a massive “Jihad Legia” banner in front of the visiting team from Hapoel Tel Aviv. Despite pleas from the club before the match and promises from the fans, as the teams were presented a green banner with the offensive message was unfurled across the length of the stand.
