Legia fans have once again hit the headlines for their embarrassing behaviour
Legia Warszawa has once again come in for severe criticism after a number of its fans reportedly began throwing bottles and fireworks during a football match for nine-year-olds.
According to reports in daily Gazeta Wyborcza, the shocking scenes took place at a game between UWKS Legia Bemowo (a Legia junior offshoot) and Polonia Warszawa (Legia’s major rivals) which was eventually abandoned due to safety fears.
The incident initially began when children from the Polonia Warszawa team gathered in the school playground to prepare for the game.
