Leszek Miller is once again the head of SLD
Former PM and Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) head Leszek Miller took over as leader of the party once again this week, beating off opposition from party member Ryszard Kalisz.
Reports on TVN24 state the 65-year-old claims he made the decision to run as he “does not agree” with what is happening within the party at the moment.
Before running, he claimed; “I will stand in these elections because my friends and colleagues must have a choice. Secondly, we have to do something to stop adding piles of wood to the flames that are currently burning the SLD.” ...
