The famous Polish ‘kabanos’ sausage has received an official European Union regional seal of approval.

According to reports on TVN, the decision was passed on Wednesday this week and means that the food is now officially protected as a traditional product of the EU. In accordance with procedures, a logo will now accompany the thin, smoked sausage while it is on sale for up to six weeks.
