Ziobro has so far refused to accept Kaczynski's offer
Law and Justice was left on the brink of splitting after deputy leader Zbigniew Ziobro refused to accept a possible solution offered by Jaroslaw Kaczynski to heal a damaging rift, calling it “intimidation”.
MEP Ziobro was in fighting form as he dismissed a proposal from leader Mr Kaczynski for him to appear before a disciplinary committee in order to atone for his sins of criticising the political direction of Law and Justice (PiS). A simple promise not to do it again would be rewarded with him, and his rebel allies, remaining within the PiS fold.
