It's still unclear how many millions of zloty LOT has lost
While much has been made of the recent miraculous landing performed in Warsaw on Tuesday, LOT airlines will be less than pleased with the amount of money it has lost due to the incident.
According to TVN’s website, LOT CEO Marcin Pirog has estimated that the closure of Warsaw’s Okecie airport will cost the company as much as PLN 2 mln per day.
The report also claims that in 24 hours, as many 280 different flights and as many as 12,000 individual passengers could have been affected.
