Kaczynski is now mourning the death of his pet
There was news this week that the most famous cat in Poland has passed away.
According to Super Express, Jaroslaw Kaczynski’s 12-year-old cat Alik has died after battling with kidney problems.
Alik, named after Mr Kaczynski’s grandfather, was found by the former prime minister after being hit by a car 11 years ago.
“After spotting the injured animal laying on the road, he stopped his car and began searching for the nearest vet,” says an anonymous party colleague, explaining how Mr Kaczysnki’s re-arranged his entire day in order to help the poor kitten.
