We have a winner for the 2008 award for complete and utter banking incompetence. I needed to transfer a reasonably large amount of cash to a friend’s bank account.

We have a winner for the 2008 award for complete and utter banking incompetence. I needed to transfer a reasonably large amount of cash to a friend’s bank account. Both he and I bank with the same bank, let’s call it Bison Bank, so we went to my branch and queued up. Then we queued again because mine is a business account and asked about a transfer.
It would cost PLN 40. But for free I could transfer money to my personal account and for free on to his account. So I signed the transfer order and then we waited for the assist ...
