Poland's agricultural sales are on the rise
The total sale of agricultural land in Poland is likely to reach 120,000 hectares by the end of 2011 - the largest amount in nine years according to the Agricultural Property Agency (APA).
With the figures so high up on last year’s 97,000 hectares, the agency is able to pay PLN 700 mln as its final instalment of this year’s state budget - the total for the year being PLN 3 bln, reports Puls Biznesu.
In addition to this, the agency states that the price per hectare during the third quarter of 2011 is 13.8 percent higher than the same time last year.
