Rumours still surround Blaszczykowski's future at Borussia Dortmund
Poland’s national team captain, Jakub Blaszczykowski, made his first start in the Champions League for Borussia Dortmund this Tuesday, and was the German side’s standout player in the 2-3 defeat to Olympique Marseille. Blaszczykowski scored the German champions’ first goal – his first in a while for the club, and ran off on a wild celebration straight into the arms of his manager, Juergen Klopp. Kuba, as he is known, has been the subject of rumours at the club, suggesting he would leave for more first team football elsewhere. The evidence of Tuesday night shows there may be brighter times ahead for him in Dortmund.
