Warsaw ranked as the cheapest European city
A recent study has shown that Warsaw is the cheapest ‘big city’ in Europe.
The annual report, carried out by global price comparison service Stockholm Pricerunner, compared the price of 25 different products in 32 major cities throughout Europe and the rest of the world and found that out of all of those checked, only Mumbai and Bangkok were cheaper than the Polish capital.
Stefan Ny, a spokesman for the company, claims the report found that while Warsaw is cheap for public transport, milk and sports footwear, it is relatively expensive for goods such as cosmetics and hygiene products.
