Someone has stolen a three-tonne boulder classified as natural heritage from a roadside near the south-western town of Złotoryja, leaving locals stunned and the police baffled.
Someone has stolen a three-tonne boulder classified as natural heritage from a roadside near the south-western town of Złotoryja, leaving locals stunned and the police baffled.
“I have no idea what someone would need that stone,” a local nature-lover told the daily
Gazeta Wrocławska. “After all, it had signs on it identifying it as natural heritage.”
“It’s a fact – the boulder is not there,” a police spokesman told the paper. “We are conducting an investigation into the case.”
