Wage increases in Poland beat most in Europe
Polish workers had reason to be cheerful during 2011 as the average wage rose by 6.6 percent - higher than many nations in the west.
According to figures by Rzeczpospolita, employees in Germany witnessed a 3 percent increase while British worker’s saw a rise of only 2.3 percent.
However due to the recent crisis in Greece, workers there saw a large decrease on their pay slip as wages dropped by as much as 5 percent.
