The Prime Minister will not be happy with the news
Donald Tusk found himself with one title he won’t be happy to lay claim to - Last year’s most criticised politician.
According to TVN24, a study carried out by PRESS-SERVICE Media Monitoring found that throughout 2011 the PM topped the list of media criticism seven months out of 12 - the majority coming towards the end of the year.
In second place was main rival and head of Law and Justice (PiS) Jaroslaw Kaczynski (four months) with former Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) leader Grzegorz Napieralski finishing in third place (one month). Mr Napieralski soon resigned from his post as leader after receiving the most criticism in October.
The study took into account criticism from a number of national newspapers including Rzeczpospolita, Gazeta Wyborcza and Super Express.
