One died when a bus carrying Polish tourists went off the road and crashed in the north of Austria in the early morning of March 29. Nine of the passengers were hospitalised with serious injuries, and a 70-year-old woman was listed in critical condition for several hours after the accident. Her condition has since improved and her life is no longer in danger.
The passengers were all participants of a skiing trip organised by a trade union for employees of a power plant in the southern city of Opole. In total, 39 people were injured, but of a total 53 participan ...
