Radwanska's recent performance in the Australian Open was impressive
Agnieszka Radwanska cruised into the third round of the Australian Open this Wednesday, with an easy win 6-3, 6-1 in just over an hour over the Argentinian Paula Ormaechea. She started well, racing into a 4-0 lead in the first set, then easing off as she comfortably closed it out.
The second set was even easier and lasted barely twenty minutes. However, it was hardly to be expected that the Argentinian qualifier, ranked a lowly 18th in the world, would put up much resistance. In the third round, the Krakow player will face Galina Voskoboeva of Kazakhstan. Meanwhile, Agnieszka’s younger sister Urszula fell at the second round, going out in two sets to a higher ranked Romanian player, Romana Cirstea.
