John Godson has shrugged off the comment claiming he is not offended

A Law and Justice (PiS) politician made headlines this week after allegedly referring to black MP John Godson as a ‘little darkie’.

The incident took place at a parliamentary meeting during which Marek Suski is believed to be caught on microphone using the word ‘murzynek’.

According to Gazeta Wyborcza, the politician is heard saying “Well, you and your little darkie vote with you, even though he had...” to which a female voice replies “Do you want to go to...”.

Mr Suski has since expressed his irritation over the matter stating that he is not ashamed by it. “This was a private statement and I would prefer it to remain private. It’s a trivial issue and has been sensationalised,” he said.

When asked if he apologised for the comment he replied he did “if [Mr Godson] feels offended”.

Asked for his views, Mr Godson of the Palikot Movement (RP) claimed, “I’m not offended, because it depends on the context. It’s a matter of intelligence levels. Some are well educated, others are not.”

The PiS MP was involved in another controversial incident a few weeks ago. As gay politician Robert Biedron argued about treating animals as ‘partners’, Mr Suski shouted out “civil partners”.

When told that his joke was “out of place” by Mr Biedron, he replied, “in your case yes”.

Given the regular neo fascist outpourings of PiS and their storm troops, its no great wonder this racist worm has emerged form under his catholic fundamentalist rock.

John Godson is a fine man who has regularly demonstrated his intelligence in many ways.

Suski on the other hand, is an ill educated moron. Amoeba are gifted with greater intelligence, yet idiots voted for this low life. Then again the Nazi;s managed to get voted into power.

There are many in PiS just like Suski who share his extremism. Unfortunately, the Endecja and its ideology are recalled by a great many with fondness, including clerics.

Well, well !! Xenophobia crawls out of its worm hole - again! The shame is that Suski and his cohorts seem to populate public places where there are no facilities for them - lack of bidets mean that it difficult to brain wash them. Mr Godson might like to make something of such slurs rather than to pretend aloofness. Slurs such as these need action and not brushing under the carpet.

Kudos to Mr. Godson. His response demonstrates his class and intelligence, two attributes Mr. Suski sorely lacks.

I congratulate 'Nigdy Wiecej' from Gdansk on the comments about Suski and PiS!!! They could not be more accurate and succinct regarding the "darkie" slur.Moreover, the above are the polity's agents of the chronic diatribe, which in turn collaborate with the catholic church's parasitic presence in the collective Polish psyche.It is like a sclerosis that prevents and retards more enlightened and real humanistic values to be engaged; not only at grass roots level, but also by those that preach piety,which also happens to be saturated with hypocrisy --- over what a civil society should be.
