The rise in prices will hit drivers hard
There was bad news for drivers this week as it was revealed that there was “no possibility” of reducing excise duty on petrol and diesel.
According to TVN24, Deputy Finance Minister Jacek Kapica stated that the current increase in fuel prices were down to world oil prices and exchange rates.
“The excise tax in both gasoline and diesel is steadily increasing,” he told reporters. “This is something over which the government has no direct influence.”
