Hospitals will have to make do with less ambulances
Hospitals and rescue stations are being forced to buy less ambulances due a rise in taxation, claims Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
It reports that customs prices have raised the price by PLN 28,000, in order to make up for unpaid excise for the years 2007 and 2008.
The paper states that ambulances, which cost between PLN 120,000 - 300,000, are not classed as ordinary vehicles and that with hospitals now needing to restrict their purchases, companies selling them will also be affected.
