Sullivan could soon be representing Poland
Ryan Sullivan, one of Australia’s leading speedway stars, is weighing up whether or not to take Polish citizenship, following his marriage to a Pole last autumn. In theory, this means he could switch colours and represent Poland in future Team World Cup competitions - but in order to do so, he’d need to get a Polish speedway license and that means passing an exam set in Polish, something he’d reportedly struggle with.
