The man is looking at up to three years in prison for his cruel act
A man in the north west of Poland has been detained by police for killing his dog by hanging it in his shed.
Authorities in Strzelce Krajenskimi were alerted to the sick act by a fellow town resident this Tuesday and upon arrival, found the dead German Shepherd hanging from a noose.
The 48-year-old owner initially tried to cover up the killing but was arrested soon afterwards, reports TVN24.
For cruelty to animals, the man now faces up to three years behind bars.
