The Court of Appeal in Warsaw has upheld a decision by the Court of Competition and Consumers (SOKiK) that TP SA must pay a PLN 339 mln penalty imposed back in February 2007.

Reports on TVN24 state that the communication firm will be forced to pay the fine for not laying down the price of its service “based on objective, transparent and non-discriminatory criteria”.

The court points out that the decision is now final and cannot be appealed further by the company.
