Police came in for a shock this week when they pulled over a suspected drunk driver to find he was 90-years-old.

The incident occurred in the north-west town of Swidwin when authorities spotted the Hyundai swerving and decided to breathalyse the driver, reports daily Fakt.

After the initial shock, it was discovered that he had a blood alcohol content of 0.15 and he was arrested.

The matter will now go to court, and the man faces a fine or even two years behind bars.
