The average Polish salary last month was PLN 3,666 new statistics suggest.

The study, carried out by the Central Statistical office (GUS) and reported on TVN, showed that year on year, the figure has risen 8.1 percent yet had dropped 8.7 percent compared to the previous month.

It also stated that companies were employing 0.9 percent more workers compared to in January 2011.
