Warsaw to Spend Billions for Euro 2012

Warsaw authorities plan to spend PLN 15bn over the next four years to prepare the city for the Euro 2012 football championships, Deputy Mayor Jacek Wojciechowicz told a news conference Wednesday. However, there are doubts whether the investment plans, including the planned new metro line under the Vistula River, are realistic.
