A Wrocław-area woman faces up to five years in prison for endangering her child’s life after doctors found it had a blood alcohol level of 0.1 percent immediately after birth on Tuesday morning. The 25-year-old mother was intoxicated during labour. The baby was moved to a specialist ward in another hospital, and the attending doctors reported the incident to the police.
