Minister Promises Progress on Shipyards

Poland is seeking more leeway from the European Commission to resolve a growing crisis around the Gdańsk, Gdynia and Szczecin shipyards, Treasury Minister Aleksander Grad said on Wednesday. Speaking at a breakfast meeting with the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) at Warsaw’s Intercontinental Hotel, Grad said the ministry had 10 preliminary offers from investors interested in the yards.
