Normally this column features the exploits of various officious types trying to separate yours truly from his hard earned cash. But not this week. This week all attempts to pay my tax came to nought, so I’ve decided not to pay any. The story starts back in April when one of my cats combined with a bottle of beer and my laptop. Eventually I coaxed the cat down from the top of the wardrobe and sought a new laptop. The prices on US Ebay were irresistible, and an order was placed.
