Mobile Phone Video Shows Abuse at Orphanage

Prosecutors in the south-eastern city of Przemyśl are investigating new evidence of violence and abuse at an orphanage in a nearby village. Though previous inspections by child welfare officials had not revealed any improprieties, an investigation launched after a prospective adoptive parent’s report unveiled mobile phone video recordings that investigators say clearly show several children physically accosted by their older colleagues.
