A man convicted for dealing stolen goods was arrested near the south-central town of Kielce on Saturday after an off-duty cop noticed him going to church to confess his sins.

A man convicted for dealing stolen goods was arrested near the south-central town of Kielce on Saturday after an off-duty cop noticed him going to church to confess his sins. The penitent criminal had been dodging the authorities for some time and a warrant had been issued for his arrest. Together with reinforcements, the officer waited until the man got out of the confessional before putting him in handcuffs. Apparently the 34-year-old fence wanted to clear his conscience ahead of his child’s baptism on Sunday.
