Łódź is powering ahead with improvements to its transport infrastructure, launching a new regional tram line this week.Though it has officially been edged out by Krakow as Poland’s second-largest urban area in terms of population, Łódź appears to be one of the most active in improving its transport infrastructure, launching a new regional tram line this week and recently speeding up its train connection with Warsaw to a respectable hour and a half.
