Two Trains Derailed

This week saw two local trains derail in unrelated incidents, with one near Warsaw on Tuesday night caused by a drunk driver and the other in Poznań on Wednesday afternoon by causes that are still being investigated.
The incident near the Warsaw suburb of Piaseczno took place just before midnight when a man blocked a railroad crossing with his Volvo. The train skipped off its rails on impact, damaging a nearby station platform. The driver, who had a blood alcohol level of 0. ...
