The bone of contention - Poland wants Patriot missiles in return for hosting the USA's anti-missile systems.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk stuck to a hard line this week on the installation of US missile shield facilities in Poland, rejecting Washington’s latest offer and saying he believed the approach would eventually reap dividends.
