Polish Bus Crash in Serbia Kills Six

Six people, including two children, were killed on the morning of July 11 in the first of two crashes of Polish tour busses in Serbia and then Romania. The first bus ran off the road apparently due to driver error on a straight stretch of motorway near the town of . Besides the fatalities, 13 people suffered grave bodily harm and 24 were treated for light injuries. Most returned to Poland on a government-sponsored flight the next day. Serbian prosecutors have filed charges of negligence against the driver.
