Miroslaw Orzechowski, leader of the right-wing League of Polish Families party (LPR) has been charged with drink driving.
Earlier this month, he was stopped by police after allegedly damaging two cars in a car park. The results of the breathalyzer test showed him with an alcohol level of 0.22 percent - the limit in Poland being 0.02 percent.

Orzechowski, known for his calls to crack down on young people drinking whilst Deputy Education minister, has stepped down from his current post until the case is resolved.
