There were calls to aid in assisted suicide for family members of the terminally ill
A recent call by Prime Minister Donald Tusk for an open debate on issues such as IVF, abortion and euthanasia, has sparked outrage amongst the church and far-right groups.“Abortion, IVF, the termination of treatment when there are no chances to cure a person, possibly have no party affiliation. […] But we need to start talking about them in a human language,” Tusk said last week.
But one Bishop has spoken out publically against the call, believing that discussing such topics, is not only unnecessary, but harmful.
