Protestors flock to capital

They have accused Warsaw of making things worse by cutting investments, blocking raises and reforming the health sector.
Some 3000 miners, steel workers and medical rescuers descended upon the streets of Warsaw Thursday,
demanding the government guarantee their jobs and take action against the economic crisis.Robert Szulc, head of the National Union of Emergency Medical Workers said the protests demanded a stop to the “wild privatisation” of hospitals and clinics throughout the medical field.
But the protesters, who marched through the capital blowing whistles, burning tires and chanting “Thieves,
Thieves” under the banner of ‘We won’t pay for your crisis’ in front of the ministries of health and economics, also criticised the government of not doing enough to fight the economic crisis.
