A new study has shown that Poland has the lowest cancer survival rate throughout the whole of Europe.

Just 38 percent of women and 21 percent of men make full recoveries after diagnosis the research by the European Cancer Organization found.

France and Finland fared best with 59 percent of women recovering completely and Iceland ranked highest for men with 47 percent.
