A flagship project of Polish foreign policy aimed at bringing former Soviet states closer to the European fold was rolled out in Prague on May 7 despite opposition from Russia.
The product of co-operation between Poland and Sweden and packing a EUR 600 million budget, the EU’s Eastern Partnership seeks to promote democratic reforms and economic integration in six countries including Belarus, Moldova and Georgia.
