Legre Karamoko, a 34-year-old black Frenchman visiting Bialystok, was attacked by local hooligans, as well as being subjected to a non-stop stream of abuse and monkey cries throughout his visit. Mr Karamoko was attacked on May 1st by a gang of ten young men while waiting at a bus-stop, two elderly women coming to his aid before he was seriously hurt.
